How We Work
From the first document to the final release, we keep things moving.
Import journey · 7 stages
Step 01
Request Received
The importer sends a clearance request as soon as cargo is bound for port.
Share your invoice, packing list, and sailing schedule. Your file is opened the same day and a licensed agent is assigned — nothing sits waiting at the port.
Step 02
Laila and Co. Takes Over
A licensed agent from Laila and Co. C&F Pvt Ltd takes ownership of every customs formality.
One accountable handler coordinates the port, customs, and transport on your behalf. You get clear updates instead of chasing paperwork across counters.
Step 03
Documents & Declaration
Every document is verified, then the import declaration is filed.
Commercial invoice, bill of lading, packing list, and certificates are checked line by line before the declaration is submitted to customs electronically.
Step 04
Review & Examination
Customs validates the declaration and may examine the cargo.
Officers review the filing against your documents. If an inspection is called, your agent attends it and clears queries on the spot so the file keeps moving.
Step 05
Duty Decision
Assessment sets the route — duty-free straight through, or dutiable via the bank.
Customs classifies the goods and fixes the duty. The journey splits here into two paths, and both reunite at a single receipt before continuing as one.

Both routes arrive at the same receipt — the journey continues as one toward permit and release.Step 06
Permit & Release
The permit is issued and your cargo is cleared to leave the port.
Receipt verified, permit in hand — release orders are processed and onward transport is arranged without delay.
Step 07
Delivered
Goods exit the port and roll toward your warehouse.
Delivery is coordinated to your door with proof of handover. File closed, cargo home.
OUT — cargo released
The importer takes delivery. Journey complete.
